Karma is a peculiar thing. It determines the future of your next life. But what of us? Do our actions from our previous homes dictate the kind of life we have here? We are still ourselves. No new life. Only moved elsewhere.

I'm not sure what I've even done for you to make you feel as if you owe me so much.
Reply
It's just a feeling I have. I'm sorry, does it bother you? I didn't mean for that.
Reply
No, that's not it. It doesn't bother me at all. I was just curious why. There's no need to apologize, Lucrecia.

Oh, I misunderstood, I'm [Oh wait that's apologizing again; she just doesn't finish that sentence]. Well. It's, several things on my part. But I was very happy to know you've stood by Sephiroth for some time. It really has nothing to do with me, just mere selfishness on my part, but it eased me a bit. If that makes any sense.

I see. There's no selfishness in being thankful for a son who has friends. Only pride.

Maybe. I don't think everyone would agree, but I'll feel it anyways since he is important to me.

Anyone who has a son or has a mother, would. And it's understandable that some wouldn't. It's only the ones who care the most that are thankful.

If you talk like that I'm really going to feel like a mother you know. A normal one even, a frightening thought. But, it's nice of you to say.
Reply
You are a mother. But we'll leave it at that, I suppose. If it makes you uncomfortable.

It feels a bit contradictory if anything, but it's fine. Thank you Angeal.
[Setting down the communicator, she went to the box of useful things she kept in the apartment, pulling it out from inside a closet. The magnet she'd picked up some time ago wasn't hard to find and she set it aside for Angeal. On her way back to the kitchen table with it she wondered if maybe she should make him something, but discarded it. She didn't want to force herself on his time.]

And it didn't take him long at all to get to her apartment. In fact, he ran so he was slightly winded as he entered the building, free from the wind. It took him a minute from there to find the room. He knocked and waited for her to answer.]

Hello. That was certainly quick. I have the magnet right here.
[Offering it to him she did her best to bury her worry and smile.]
Ah... would you like to come in?

The cold can be quite a motivator. Of course once you start running the cold starts to disappear-- thank you,
[He took the magnet in hand and examined it, wondering how much of a magnetism it had.]
If you wouldn't mind. I shouldn't be long.
