[Hands moved away from a blue bowl; the contents brown, lumpy looking and somewhat edible until you knew what it was. A deep breath before;] Minato just made this under my supervision, but with no help. This is to see exactly what kind of abnormality he often creates and what it is I have to do to help him.... improve. [A pause as fingers drummed on the table.] This was supposed to be white rice. As you can see, it is no longer white.
[There's the sound of something metallic clattering to the ground in the distance, followed by a shout.] ....I'm okay!! [And then cursing.]
... and he also seems to be attempting to clean up the kitchen. [He stopped his whispering and voiced himself more.] Everything alright in there, Minato? What was that crash?
[A voice still in the distance.] Y-Yes! Everything's okay, Angeal! That was just a couple of pans falling on my foot!
Alright. If you say so. [Gloved hands search for a utensil of some sort. A sigh as he stood up, walking off to the kitchen; his voice fading off to what Minato's sounded like.] Generally when you serve a dish, you give the person something to eat it with. ... Also, that's not how you stack pans.
Oh, uh... There's some over there? [There's a nervous laugh.] A-And I knew that...! [A long moment of silence.] ... how do you stack pans again, Angeal?
Like this. [Light clanging and shifting lasted only a few seconds before Angeal went across the floor, grabbed chopsticks and headed back to the table.] You can clean up the mess later. This is your first tasting, Minato. You should at the very least be in the same room.
[After a long moment where the water runs before Minato walks into view, drying his hands on a towel. That was one thing it could do, it seems.] ... All right. Just stand here, right?
Stand or sit, we're friends. There isn't a reason to be nervous. [The chopsticks broke through the top layer. Angeal froze momentarily. He cleared his throat and dug out some strangely colored rice. Another moment staring at it before he ate it. He cringed at the few first chews before a hand sharply snapped to his mouth. The coughing fit didn't stop until every last bit of food he chewed was out.]
[Minato remains standing, staring at Angeal and looking at him with a weak grin.] ... It doesn't taste good, does it?
[One last cough, a wipe of his mouth.] It could.. use improvement.
[Minato sighs and sags into a chair next to Angeal, putting his arms on the table and head on top of it.] ... I put all my soul into it!
... you tried your best?
[Minato nods into his arms.] ... Yes. I gave it my all....
[Angeal nodded. Chopsticks sat on the brim of the bowl.] I have to be honest Minato, that was the worst rice I have ever had. However... [A long pause. Yet again another sigh.]
[Minato's head lifts slightly and he looks at Angeal with wide eyes.] ... However?
[He never was one for friendly words when he decided to have a student. It was a grunt this time as he crossed his arms and looked down to Minato with a promising look.]
[His entire body jerks to attention as he sits up very, very quickly.] You'd... teach me, Angeal?
I can't let you keep poisoning everyone, now can I? [The tone was happy.]
[Minato stands quickly, eyes going wide.] You'd really teach me?!
[A few quiet chuckles slip out.] You can start by getting rid of this and cleaning up the mess you made in the kitchen. [Angeal holds up the bowl.]
[Minato's eyes go comically wide, and then he tackles Angeal.] THANK YOU, ANGEAAAAAAL!
Minato! [Just before the bowl falls over the camera, the two can be seen tumbling to the floor, Angeal looking rather aghast.]
