[Karai slows and then comes to a stop, but she doesn't turn around to look at the other woman. Her words have a faint sense of heaviness, but her tone is no less harsh. Her father being in Luceti changes everything.]

Ami-san. One cannot befriend both sides of a war. I cannot guarantee your safety.

You would be wise to listen to the warnings delivered you by your friends and stay far away.

[She knows Usagi would believe in befriending both sides anyway. Usagi is also here. Just as Karai can make no guarantees with her father in Luceti, Ami can't act as she would on her own with Usagi here to protect.

She's also seen enemies turn to allies. Even without Usagi's faith, she has proof peace can come - and that peace is a more lasting guarantee of safety anyway.]

Somehow I don't want to just let it go.
