(no subject)
There's nothing more I want now than to go home and sleep. But I got speech class and then maaaaybe study with my lab partner for the geology exam (which I felt was suddenly thrown in our faces. I mean, it wasn't since it was in the syllabus and all but still. I just talked about the mineral exam a couple of days ago).

5. Least favorite Love Interest
This is difficult for me to answer. I don't think I have a least favorite mostly because I haven't romanced Merrill. I made a warrior Hawke for her but haven't gotten to it yet. I'm still kinda irked that she looks like she's a 16 year old loli (srsly she could fit in with the girls from Lucky Star) and imagining a much older looking (especially bearded) m!Hawke is just....uh....not my cup of tea. At all. I don't care if CLAMP wrote something like this (wait, I think they did) but thaaaaat's not my thing.
Oddly enough, I don't mind the new elf designs (I think Jethann is adorable. Pol too. And Merrill of course). I'm more annoyed at HOW they used it. Like 80% of the elf women have the same hair. So there's variation in the bangs but STILL YOU COULD USE OTHER HAIRSTYLES COME ONNN. The only immediate exception (besides Merrill) that comes to mind is her and she spoke like...maybe ten lines.
Derrrrrr straying away there. Anyway, I'm not sure myself ahahaaa. There some things that irked me about each romance in all games. One that comes to mind is how there's no final kiss for Anders. I dunno about Merrill (yet) but Fenris and Isabela have one. Why not Anders? Is my game just bugged or did Bioware think the first snoggy kiss was enough? 8( And also how Anders is written IN SOME PARTS OF THE STORY. Some parts where even I think it's just bad writing (handing Fenris back to his former master gains +5 friendship from Anders WTF that ain't justice :|).

6. Your Warden’s story
Duuuuuuh. I got like, six of them. I shared some of them in previous LJ posts somewhere. I guess I could get around to sharing the rest.
Ah, here we go. Remy Tabris, Rhys Surana, Celyn Mahariel, and Corwin Cousland.
Speaking of Warden story, I'm gonna write Rhys' story for my sci-fi/fantasy class. It's going to be difficult because of...the possible length. I wanted to at least get to the Dalish elves, but the logical path seems to be Circle Tower, Redcliffe, then the stupid ashes (Denerim, Haven, blah blah blah), and theeeen the Dalish. It's going to take a while. I had planned to stop right at Eamon's revival after the ashes quest but I can't work the Dalish in there and it sounds weird to go to them first.
Clearly, I have plenty of time for another one~
7. Favorite quest
In DA:O, definitely Nature of the Beast. I like the forest, I like the Dalish elves, I love the Lady of the Forest and the ancient temple you explore. Oh! And the Grand Oak. 8D Srsly I never felt annoyed about that quest at all. It's even cooler when you play a Dalish or City Elf warden. I never had the heart to kill off the Dalish clan. I think deciding to do so is a pretty damn straight up evil thing. At least there is a compromise and I like that.
In DA:A...I don't think any of them stood out to me. But I never hated doing them (well, maybe Kal'Hirol a little but it's not as Deep-Roadsy as Paragon of Her Kind in DA:O). I think I liked saving Amaranthine from the darkspawn the most.
I've only found the companion quests entertaining in DA2 (especially Anders' Dissent and Fenris' A Bitter Pill). And while I love the Dalish clan, I hated doing any Sundermount-related quests. I also really enjoy Finding Nathaniel for obvious reasons, but also for Warden!Carver's cameo. 8D Hmm...I guess I like Enemies Among Us so you'd see the positive side of Templars (well, sort of) and it's fun to watch the party's reaction to Idunna. I think All that Remains is pretty sad too.
