"Letting Out The Angry Hobo" or "ARGHAAH!"
My freakin' feet!! THE PAIN!! ARGHAAH! Okay. Work's still doing well, but my toes are starting to turn funny colours when I get home at night after having been there since ten that morning. I am such a baby. I really do like it there. Just gotta keep saying it. ;)
My mom is watching "Ed Wood" in the living room which, for some reason, reminded me of the conversation Gonzo and I had about the episode of Atlantis last Friday, "Conversion." Anyone see that one? I wasn't particularly fond of this one. And, no, not just because Rodney was barely in it. It just seemed like the huge problem that the whole ep circled around (Shep's "conversion") was wrapped up too neatly and quickly at the end. I know Stargate is famous for the ten-minute problem-solving motif, but, come on. There was something wrong with him genetically. Everyone was getting ready to say their goodbyes after watching him slowly deteriorate and become less and less of the John Sheppard they knew. The situation just seemed a little too dire to be put right so tidily in such a short period of time. And it's impossible to be pissed when you're listening to "Heavier Things." I'm only slightly discontent. :) Okay, not really.
