IT'S ALL A GO (EXCEPT FOR THE SWEARING-IN)
My thanks to all who have been so very supportive during the LOOONG process over the years....yesterday I went for my Interview/Citizenship Test and I received the go-ahead. My application for Naturalization has been approved. Now all they need to do is send me a notice letting me know when the next swearing-in ceremony will be...per my interviewer most likely Feb/March next year.
Yippeee...there's going to be a PARTY afterward! It's been a long road and there will be reason for celebration when it's all finally over. I can register to vote (first thing I'm going to do!) and apply for my passport. I'll need it for the cruise next September as we have to fly into Vancouver.
Thanks again for all the love and support...You've all made the process so much easier and even more worthwhile for me!
