Yeah I don't plan trips anymore, I just flee. Best way to travel :D so jealous of Ise, I need to go there so bad D:
It's -10C and colder here every night. I feel sorry for co-workers who live alone in those old teacher apartments, their pipes freeze overnight and most have to go to the nearby sento/onsen because there is no other option other than to invite themselves over to my place to use my bathroom hot water bottles and kairos are such a huge life saver!
The transition from post-student to working-adult zone is pretty scary, try not to freak out until you're there!! <3
I wanna go back to Ise ;_; I met someone there, a woman who basically spent the day with me because hey, foreigner, INTERESTING! and she told me to defos come back but there and back costs me about 5500, so I have considered Golden Week but probably no earlier than that...
Oh god, -10. I mean, I have never felt like this, not during the last winters back at home, where it used to get -10 and -20 respectively, but that#s probably because I had a warm home to return to, damnit *.* I am so glad for this tub when it gets too bad. I can't use kairos because I don't have microwave, and I kind of refuse the hot water bottle because in bed it's usually okay.... i just don't leave it.
Ahaha, you probably are an Aussie wuss! As long as I have a warm home to return to, up to -20° C i berable (even though I'd be super happy if it never came to that again), here something I can't quite put my finger on is really different -.-

For some reason it's freaking cold in Japan during winter. Like in Tokyo during new years, it was freezing outside and no snow -_-;
