Pauline is so god damn effing annoying. Fucking whore thinks she's entitled to whatever the hell she wants, whenever. I was gone for less than ten minutes to pick Dan up. I came back, and there was a car in MY parking spot. I reported it to the leasing office because WTF, not cool. After FINALLY finding a free parking spot, I came back home.... to ( Read more... )

I don't think I did. Her skull is so damn thick, she can't process the fact that, yes, I am entitled to that spot. Why? Because I provided everything in the damn apartment, that's why. I brought up several possible solutions (to Pauline and Xiomara's combined zero), and she discarded every single one of them. She just wants things handed to her. She wants me to give up my spot whenever she says so. Ugh I am so through with her.

Roommates, gotta love em. Hopefully some compromises will be met, though I don't think your actions or requests are unreasonable. Why is it so hard to find decent people to live with?

*Hugs*

Honestly? I really don't know. I get new roommates every year, and I always seem to have problems with them. I'm just glad I'm moving out at the end of August.

Thanks =)

See, I have this sword. His name is Thio. He has a friend, my pocket knife, named Malachi. They'd like to "meet" your roommate.

Roommates are evil. I've concluded this after reading your posts and thinking about my crappy living situation. My roommate takes staples such as eggs, butter, mayo, that kind of thing, to his camp. For three or four days at a time. Without replacing it or telling anyone where it went. And most of the time it's things that I HAVE BOUGHT!! He threw away my potatos because they looked "rotten." They use all of my things because it's there, without asking. It drives me insane.

Seriously? They really are. I think what makes it worse is when they have no respect for you, which is definitely the case in my situation and sounds like it is in yours, too. Do you at least have your own bedroom? I share a one bedroom apartment with two other girls. I think this same situation wouldn't seem as bad if I had my own room.

Is there any way you can hide your food or lock it away? Maybe squirrel away and canned foods and crackers and whatnot under your bed, and only keep the perishables in the refrigerator?

When are you moving out? I hope it's soon. I can't believe it's so hard to co-exist with roommates. People, just stick to the rules that were laid out and there won't be any problems! Also, exercise common courtesy! I hope I never have roommates like yours..hug?

Not until the end of August -- my lease expires then. Hopefully by then I'll have enough money saved to get my own apartment and no roommates! For the most part, Pauline lacks common courtesy and common sense. Oh, and she doesn't have any respect for me, which makes it that much worse. She has no gratitude for everything I've done (I single handedly furnished the apartment except for her bed and dresser, provided all the cooking supplies, decorated the apartment so it wouldn't look like a college dorm, I have all the responsibility for the bills...) and thinks she's entitled to whatever the hell she wants, whether it be my food or my parking spot.
