derby scrimmage. beer. work.
* went to a derby scrimmage last night and it was the most fun i've ever had on skates. i did take a bad fall and i think my tailbone is fractured. it was well worth it though.
* stopped by the double windsor after scrimmage for their monthly trivia night. we came in 13th out of 25 teams, a pretty sad performance, but barrier IPA was consumed and fun was had and i now have the phone number of an attractive divorced biker woman whose ex-husband enjoys anal beads. don't ask because i don't know.
* my 400 hours are done. i've been going in for a few periods a day just to "teach" my class and grade finals. i e-mailed in today; between the tailbone and the mild hangover i wasn't feeling it. got this in response:
...be here on Friday the kids want to have a send off party for you, Gustavo brought munchkins today and Heather made a cake, but she'll make another.
i really had a bunch of awesome kids in my class. i will miss them.
