Somebody explain tumblr to me. Is it just people posting screencaps and stuff that other people have taken? What is it for?

Every time I happen to see something there, it's just...graphics and shit. Is that all it is?

Incidentally, the main reason I leave such long involved replies to comments on fics is due to the fact that, when I read a fic I really enjoy, I'll often scroll down to the comments in hopes that there will be some additional insights into what's going on in the fic. I really don't get Sam/Gabriel. Like, at all. Okay, yes, they do have kind of a history together, but it's mostly of Gabriel doing horrible things to Sam. I mean, the guy killed his brother, repeatedly, and created a situation which led Sam to become some kind of terrifying revenge-driven near-sociopath.
