Everything you ever wanted to know about Japanese food

So ask me anything about eating at a Japanese restaurant/sushi bar (*not* teppanyaki). Alternately, ask me anything about what it's like to work in one (I've worked in several).

Here's a piece of free info!

Do not rub your chopsticks together before you eat! Lots of people, mostly Americans, do this. It's considered to be rude--plus can lead to splinters flying into the food. So...don't do it! It definitely gives the impression of trying too hard.

Also eat your curry with a spoon. Not the chopsticks. Spoons are provided for a reason.
