I actually had a short story picked up a while back, but didn't hear anything after that. This morning I got an email saying that they've changed their format (quarterly to yearly) and since he won't be able to publish it until July 2012, I should submit elsewhere. If I don't sell it, he says he'll put it in the next one, but I dunno

And yeah, I'm annoyed, so I spent the morning looking for a spot to submit, and doing so. I feel like he's trying to unload these stories as he apparently 'has too many'. There is actually a signed contract involved and now I need to go look at it. Grr.

Duotrope is amazing -- they have a tracker, which I use, so I can keep track of what's where and how long it's been out, etc.

Oh man, if that had happened, forget it. No, my problem is that my stuff is universally weird and makes everyone regard it with a standard 'huh??' response. Which I guess is okay. ;)
