A good thing
I was thinking, today, that I'm glad I came to the SPN fandom while it's in its last years.
This might seem a little weird, but in a lot of ways I think it suits me. I'm an autumn sort of person. I'm familiar with endings. It isn't necessarily that I enjoy them, but in a lot of ways, they make more sense than anything else.
There's something about this sort of thing, this kind of twilight. There's a silence in it, made up of the hollow and empty places that once were vibrant. There's stillness and depth in those places. There's something to make you stop and catch your breath and listen, hard. There's patience and caution there, and an understanding of subtle elements that otherwise might have been hidden, in a brighter clearer time.
