Fic: A Hole in the World

Dec 12, 2010 16:54

Title: A Hole in the World
Summary: For liliaeth who requested s4 AU with immediately post-Hell Dean in the hospital with trauma, and for salty_catfish who seconded it. This…is probably not what either of them had in mind. Heh. (OFC, outsider POV.)
Warnings: Tense shifts, weirdness.
Notes: Thanks again to hokuton_punch for her unrelenting awesomeness.

So do I! I think just about everyone does. ;)

Glad you enjoyed this!

P.S.: What is your icon from? It looks a bit familiar...

It's Michonne, probably the coolest most awesome character from the Walking Dead comics.

Damn. I feel gutted. Bravo- the hollow numbness of it is just brilliant, and the imagery...

Poor Dean, the things I put him through...(well, the things everyone in this fandom puts him through...heh.)

Some of this stuff came out of nowhere. I just wanted it to read as though the supernatural stuff were more background and the psychic impact was really the centerpiece. The idea of abandonment and being lost...that kind of popped up on its own. Strange days.

This was just amazing, every single line of it. You are so incredibly talented!

Love the outsider POV here so much. :)

Outsider POV is a lot of fun! I should try it again sometime...

Thanks for the kind words. This thing was unexpectedly difficult to write, so I'm glad it worked for you. :)

Very creepy and evocative. I like both the POVs you use here.

Thanks! It was a weird thing to write, and I felt a bit pretentious with the POVs, but...that's the way it seemed to want to go. Glad it worked after all. ;)

This is incredible. I found myself completely immersed in your language and the world you created here.

I wanted to see what happened after the end so bad, but at the same time, the ending was so perfect and haunting, and ahhh. I really love your writing.

This was strangely difficult to write, so it's a relief that it worked out. And...I kinda want to see what happens after the end, myself. Time will tell...^^
