We just went pants shopping for my munchkin this weekend, and it was awful. He's super, super tall--almost as tall as me and he's not even in the double digits yet, age-wise--so none of the pants in the boy's section are long enough anymore. But he's nowhere near having a man-sized waist, so the men's section didn't do us much good, either. There aren't any big-and-tall stores in the area, that I've found, and I can't afford to go have pants special-made every time he has a growth spurt. I suck at sewing but I'm getting a lot of practice in now.
So yeah. When you find the right pants, HOARD THEM ALL.
Well I bought another pair, so I have two...that's almost as good as all of them, right?
I haven't bought new pants in a long long while. But sometimes needs must when the devil drives, etc. And man, I sat down in the car to drive and they didn't crawl halfway down my butt. Unreal.
As someone who has never actually owned a pair of super well-fitting pants, I APPLAUD THIS FIND WITH THE MOST APPLAUSE IN ALL THE WORLD. This is excellent!!!!!
It's not even that I'm like, overweight or anything. Even if I was super-underweight I'd still have hips and thighs and frankly, it looks better like this because at least there are curves and not just, like, bumps. But for some reason clothes in my size are cut for one shape only. That is, not mine.
I want to investigate this company and see what other stuff they're selling. *plots*
Hah maybe I will. I'd have to charge up the camera.
They are comfy! And they just stay put on my butt, even if I end over or squat down or get in and out of the car. At no point have I had to adjust them to make sure I'm not accidentally flashing everyone. It's weirding me out.
I'm 5'2". Length is also a problem for me, but in the other direction. These are actually capris, though, so that's neither here nor there. I still shop in the Juniors' section. Fortunately, I can still get away with it.
I had no idea there was such a thing as business jeans. My knowledge of fashion is sorely lacking.

In a good way, though.
