was the last work-Monday for this year!

I had to place my last three days off somewhere in December or otherwise I wouldn't take them at all (company rule). So I took the first three Mondays off to have nice long weekends to spend with the boy. Yay me!
The last week of December is scheduled as plant holiday. That means we have to take the three work days as days off but basically the whole company is closed.

And then, shortly after christmas and new years it's my birthday again. The last one with a 20 in it. *sniff* I really don't mind getting older because I don't feel like in my late twenties or early thirties at all. I feel like 24 most of the time (and behave like 15 sometimes). But it feels a bit weird to have to say '29' or '30' soon if someone asks my age.
Of course it is an amazing ego-booster to get an immediate 'you don't look like (insert age) at all' and I hope to keep my youth-y appearance for a while. But slowly there are other thoughts than party-all-the-way on my mind. Like the work change I talked about in my last entry. Or how about having my own family? But well, that is stuff that doesn't need rushing.

I found an excellent crocheting book: Debbie Stoller - The Happy Hooker. I don't know the English version but I guess the designs in there are the same as in the German version and those are great. So very nice things you can make and very good explained. So even a crocheted skirt doesn't seem impossible anymore.
I'm about to start two scarf projects now so if you excuse me...
