I think sometimes people (well me) get so caught up in what's going wrong in life that we forget about what's going right. For example, I've been extremely depressed lately because of the lack of job situation, the fact that my boyfriend is 2000 miles away, I have no money, and I basically have no life. However, if I were to really look at the situation I would see that I just graduated from a pretty damn good university, I do have job pospects, I do have a boyfriend and a soulmate, my parents let me live out their house and eat their food for free and haven't harassed me about the phone bill...yet, and I have great friends. A lot of people don't have job prospects or boyfriends or kickass parents or friends. My point being that when you really get depressed because things are going they way you think they should, you should really sit down and put things in perspective and think about all the things that you DO have and the things that ARE going right in your life and realize how really blessed that you are. And remember...you catch more flies with honey than vinegar...I good attitude and a smile will get you a lot further in life than a depressed mopey attitude and a frown.
Whoo...that was a deep moment...i think i better stop while i'm ahead...LOL.
OH....I have just one more piece of "shanna wisdom"...communication is key in EVERY relationship you have. You always hear how communication is key in a romantic relationship, well it only makes sense that it would also be key in every type of other relationship that you have...friendship, family, and work relationships. Open and honest communication well stop most issues before they even become issues...this may be common sense to some...but it wasn't to me. A lot of tears would have been saved if I would have followed this advance that I just gave. But everythings good now! :o)
I AM NOW STEPPING OFF MY SOAP BOX!!! (*everyone sighs with relief*) LOL
i love you all!!!!
