Ah, David Cook.
So I'm going through the huge batch of e-mails in my Gmail folder--I don't archive or trash any of my old emails if I deem them important, so I have hundreds just sitting in my inbox, which frustrates
dreamerren to no end. And I come across this one e-mail I sent to myself, which I do often, to give me notes or reminders I won't remember to check in other places. It has one simple quote:
"I've been spending literally the rest of my life trying to get back home."
And I'm pretty sure I wanted to use it somehow for Outlaw's Prayer--which I didn't, I don't believe--based on the date of the e-mail. But I can't remember why I wanted to write it down, or who said it. Was it David himself in an interview? Had it been from a real-life outlaw in the Old West?
It's a little mystery but I wanted to put it down here. :)
I guess this is as good of a time as any...here's my post telling the friends and visitors on my Livejournal nothing leaves this Livejournal. I do not want anyone cross-posting anything said in here, whether in the post or in comment threads, to Facebook or Twitter. This LJ is a safe place for both my real-life and my fandom thoughts, and I do not like to mix those worlds anywhere but here. (e.g., no talk about looking for work on Twitter, ABSOLUTELY no fanfiction on my Facebook. You got that?) If I find someone is linking from my pages onto either of these other social networking sites, you will be defriended/banned and I will have to take a serious re-assessment of the friends I wish to keep on this journal.
