tonight i had my birthday party
it was good for the most part.
i planned on many more people,
but they'd rather not show.

i feel so hopeless.
time seems to be slipping by
so rapidly that i can hardly
stand it. i remember when a
week seemed like an eternity.

i want that perception back.

there's something about tears
for fears that just gets me.
it's some of the saddest music
to me. i love it.
