I have come to a halt with my crocheting recently due to an overly ambitious project. I decided to make a sweater.
Previously, I never had to worry about gauge or counting stitches because I only made squares, scarfs, shawls and blankets (totally ruined the s theme there).
I've been trying to make this sweater about a year now and I'm fed up with it. I stopped crocheting all together. I took all the joy out of it by telling myself I had to finish one project before starting another. Well, screw that!
I'm going back to basics and making things that are easy and small. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it. Today I decided to make some washcloths and I found a great pattern in crochet today with three different variances. I started re winding my stash of cotton yarn when I got home and I've been itching to start. Yeay for loving crochet again. phew...
