Hey hey, it is time for summer break. I had Programming, my last exam, last Wednesday.
I was the last person to turn in my Programming exam, because I like getting high scores. Everyone was like, what took you so long, and I said I wanted to make sure I had the correct answers. I still turned in my exam half an hour before the end of our exam time. At this point, the class mostly revealed its lack of capacity in regards to staying reasonably quiet for the relatively short period of half an hour. I do not, honestly, have a lot of sympathy for this condition.
So, summer. have some goals. Possibly I will make a list.
On the Amazon.com page for
Hocus Pocus, by Kurt Vonnegut, under Editorial Reviews, Publisher's Weekly has this to say:
"From Publishers Weekly
While awaiting trial for an initially unspecified crime, Vietnam vet and college professor Eugene Debs Hartke realizes that he has killed exactly as many people as he has had sex with, a coincidence that causes him to doubt his atheism. According to PW , "The cumulative power of the novel is considerable, revealing Vonnegut at his fanciful and playful best.""
This kind of blows my mind, because -- a publication quoted itself in its own review. I don't really think you can say much more about it than that.
