Okay, here's a rule: you can't mention a seriously good story in a fandom I read (although I've never seen an ep, um) that is 400,000,000 words long and then not tell me its author and title. Bad form, homo! Bad form!

P.S. I'm still loving the undead but observant heck out of that creepalicious story you posted the other day. You're so freaking brilliant. I know people on LJ or AO3 can say nice things often (which is very nice! and unlike the real world!), so maybe it can be easy to kind of shrug the compliments off as nice people saying nice things, but to help prove to you how genuinely greatosaurus you are I am volunteering to go bloodily murder some saint or whatever and THEN compliment your writing. That way you'd have to take me seriously.

See? I'm an idea man, through and through.

Anyway, yes, YOUR WRITING IS REAL LIFE AMAZING. So.

the lack of mention was mostly due to figuring no one on my flist would be interested and the few who are, i've already gushed and raved and weeped my eyes out to them about it. i had no idea you were into TW (and sterek in particular).

although, ha, not watching the show is probably the wisest choice you could make. i went into the show a few years ago (thanks to tumblr) thinking this was a show about a teenage human in a red hoodie and his older, werewolf boyfriend. how wrong i was :( although that's still what it's about to me, lol. gonna message you the deets

just had a click. holy word count, you were not joking. interestingly enough, i usually avoid high word counts. the 100k sterek was the lengthiest fic i've read in years. i trust your judgment though; gonna check this out tomorrow morning when i've got a bit more time ( ... )

OMG, being super long is a feature of Restraint, not a bug. When you have the time to tackle it? SO INCREDIBLY WORTH IT. It's just... honestly. Beyond amazing.

And hey, that wasn't a rant! That was a public service. :) I keep on meaning to watch the show, but Continuum just started again (!!!!!!!!), Game of Thrones is coming in little over a week (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), Orphan Black at some point, plus Longmire!

I have never, in my entire long life, watched more than one or two shows a week. EVER. EVER EVER. And now I'm already on FOUR. Four! Like a crazy person! Still, it's good to know there are more worth it eps on Teen Wolf than I realized. Thank you!

i think i'm up to 4 shows a week as well. or, was. teen wolf is over until june, and TWD ends this sunday. so that'll leave me with SPN and shameless. not too bad.

although one thing that makes me a bit stressed is the idea of being in more than one fandom at once. or, writing for multiple fandoms, i should say. i don't know how people do it. i've never been able to. i dropped my last fandom entirely when i came over to spn. now i wanna write sterek but i don't know if it'll be too much of a juggle for a simpleton like myself lol

I am so mono fandom it's flat dumb. I guess it's maybe possibly an extension of my frankly bizarre extreme monogamous nature. I just... I can't care about two people at one time! Or even be interested sexually in more than one guy at a time. And it's super hard for me to be sexually interested if I don't know they pretty dang well. I'm just not wired that way. (Said the only gay man IN THE ENTIRE WORLD so wired.)

And this seems to carry over into fandom. I've been devoted to SPN/SPN RPF for nine years now. But now the show is so bad! So baaaaaad. So bad even I cannot endure it any longer. And on the RPF side everyone is married to girls and popping out children and so many RPF stories start there, which. Look. It's make believe, but. I don't know. I miss the days when neither were dating and living and vacationing together and humping each other in the press line. You know? I'm obscenely greedy, is what that is ( ... )
