i bought the Press Telegram the day before yesterday, something ive never done in my life. I decided to because i missed some of Carter's speech during the democratic convention, (& since I dont have cable, i watched it on the only channel to watch when you turn on tv, KCET)
i wanted to read what it was all about. anyways, i got around to reading it today, & for a long beach based newspaper, they sure sound like every other conservative right wing nut job! the article was like one of those breaking news specials on abc. i could just picture barbara walters reading it outloud whith images flashing behind her repeatedly and some where in the background, the screams of peter jennings, the Tony Blair counterpart to the seperate nation that has become place for reporters and broadcasters , cameramen and...editors.
i couldnt even stomach the article, so i browsed through the rest of the newspaper, and behold, the smug smile on BILL O'REILLY's face in the commentary. what a jerk off! if i could hold a sit-down interview with anyone, i'd ask for this bitch.
it took my fuckface computer about an hr to get o'reilly's interview w/ michael moore, (if you could call it an 'interview')...."hmm, let me ask you a 'hard-hitting question' and interrupt you before you even answer to give you what would be my answer, and how i think you're wrong! crazy liberals!" -thats what bill O'reilly sounds like to me. it's like he has a palestenian mindset; building a fucking wall in his brain so that he can't make allow with different beliefs to enter. 0'reilly is as self righteous and opinionated on print as he is on tv. fuck im opinionated but hey, i'm not self righteous! i think he just likes to listen to himself, read himself in the newspaper. in his article, he rambled about how the 9/11 commission report proves his point that, "george bush and tony blair never lied." well im glad he has that report to backup his opinion, it was about time bush allowed there to be a 9/11 comission!
and about that democratic convention...well it had its good moments. but they were fleeting and they only occured when the orator was black. (howard dean's speech? snooore! that reverend'sal sharpton's? oh yeaaah!) so far the convention was as productive in informing america about john/john's platform as the downey cheerleaders. really, maybe they wouldve done a better job. all this b.s about kerry and his greatness! can we hear the politcal agenda now, perhaps?
its very disheartening to want these assholes out of office come election day, but realizing that the only way to do it is to give kerry the up.
i dont mind edwards, hell, i dont know much about the guy, but hey he seems alright. today during his speech he spoke like a true politician, (is that a good thing?) but ...i still dont know anything about him. hmm.
there's been a lot of hype about "peace sentiments" and "bringing our troops home." i wonder if when kerry finally gives his acceptance speech, he'll mention his intention of sending MORE troops to Iraq. (oh, kerry's an internationalist, Gore? well fuck dee doo, 'cause the international populus hates the US right now. and he cant handle the aftermath of the war any better than Rumsfeld because just like him, he's got no allies!!!ahh!!) Fuck, I'm sure Michael Moore must have chronic nausea from having to attend this b.s. for so long. hell, from Heinz's little speech alone he must've vomited 3 meals away (we all know he'd benefit from it). & after fahrenheit 9/11- the young swingers now cry, "oh but kerry was in vietnam &bush sucks cause he didnt go, he just sent kids to war- look at me, i pretend i listen to the doors and pay for 60's-ish fashionabilia at forever 21. peace dudes! we hate rumsfeld." good thing the media has made americans impressionable, they'll easily swing red? / blue? and settle on kerry!
well as for me, fuuuck it. im gonna encourage registered voters to vote for kerry come mid-sept just because i want monkey-bush to get the boot & because kerry at least gives a damn about the ecological crisis and hes not cheney's bitch...(he's clinton's bitch, but from what i've learned, a lot of people are.)
hmm. kerry will win. if jeb bush plans to pull another florida stunt, kerry's brother is senator in massachusetts, so:
