Jeopardy and car
There's this dude who has won Jeopardy 15 times. The record he broke was 7 games.
And he's won something like $480,000.
And somebody goes on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" ONCE and they answer lots LESS, easier questions, and they can get half a million in one shot.
Kinda screwy.
(And he's still going, folks. I wonder how far they'll let him get before they say "NO MORE!")
And in other news, my car is making scary sounds. The engine is sputtering... or something. And of course, this happens the day my parents leave for CANADA to see atara. *waves arms dramatically* I'm all... flustered.
I shouldn't be. I should be able to figure out what to do without having to rely on them.
Oh, well. I wrote atara an e-mail, hoping they'll get it before they leave for the big mountain.
I love my car. It's old. I tore off my dust flap today because it was dragging on the ground. I changed the oil today, too. It still sputtered.
