Sorted, mathematically.

Damn. The sorting hat sure would have a hard time with me. Quite frankly, I'm not surprised, although Gryffindor is a bit higher than I expected.

Gryffindor: 65%
Ravenclaw: 75%
Hufflepuff: 56%
Slytherin: 69%

I know. You were all SO curious to know what house I'd be in. Take it yourself.

Some other test I took a while back called "What kind of Slytherin are you?" said I was a Slytherclaw.

The thing is, I'm horrible at studying, and the books I read are mostly fiction - I'd never make it as a Ravenclaw. Nearly ever sorting test has placed me in Slytherin (except the really obnoxious ones with questions like "are you evil?"). Hufflepuff has always been out of the question, although Hufflepuff sounds most like Unitarian Universalists - Said Hufflepuff, "I'll teach the lot, and treat them just the same." Definitely my belief, seemingly anti-Slytherin, but I've always scored low on being a Hufflepuff.

Yeah. The sorting hat would probably take one look at my brain and say "what the FUCK is this?"

I'm mostly done with the next chapter (it's definitely my favorite so far). I'm quite happy, because I finally managed to work in ONE line that I've been wanting to use since the plot bunny first bit me in the ass. (When I get it up, I'll give you a drabble if you can guess what it is. Just hope Emma-beta doesn't recommend I cut it.)

ANYWAY, here's what I'd like your opinion on: there's a scene I would really like to add, but it's skimming the line of NC-17. It would be the most 'smut' I've ever written (yet it still pales in comparison to many other stories) - I've never been a lemon writer, and I never planned to be. But when I was reading over my outline for the chapter, I realized how perfect the scene I've got in mind would fit into it.

I know it's difficult to get your opinion when you don't know what the situation is (it's probably not what you're expecting, I'll say that much). Basically, my question is this:
Should I leave Doppelganger at the PG-13/R rating, or should I jump the line I've NEVER crossed?

(It's not even really NC-17. It's probably more of a hard R.)

emmagrant01, I'd send this you to get your opinion, but you'd bawk at the amount of chicken scratchings I've got. (And yes, it is possible to have chicken scratching on Word.) The scenes cut and drop, and it wouldn't really make sense until I tie it all together. I'm just trying to get some feedback before I try and stretch my brain to do something it's never done before.
