Characters: Gau Meguro justice_by_coma, Serah Farron fatemarked, Rookie brb_napping, and ANYONE WHO WANTS TO COME BY [Open]
Setting/Location: The Caravan Showers
Date & Time: Insanely early on Day 22
Warnings: Cleaning, misunderstandings involving said lurking cleaning, and...well...possibly the caravan exhibitionists (or just the shy people who try to avoid public showering) coming by in various states of dishabille to figure out what all the ruckus is or be shocked out of their brains at having someone actually scrubbing the grout.
Summary: After recuperating from super dramatic sickness due to his friend giving him a shot (so to speak), Gau takes it upon himself to clean everything that might have caused said sickness, with a singlemindedness and determination any conspiracy-theorist would find inspiring.

The tinny echo of the showers turned Gau's low-key G-rated muttering into a hushed chorus; the industrious scrub of the brush adding staccato rhythm in amongst the quiet bouts of rabble, and the stink of ammonia and white vinegar. (He'd still yet to find a decent bleach substitute.) Gau was positively convinced with all the stubbornness in him that hygiene was key even at the worst of times. And yes, he'd been ill along with half the caravan it seemed.

Now it was true, judging by the spread--he reasoned to himself--the sickness, yes, could be blamed on their recent lake adventures, and water breathing. But-! (And here was the key.) Who was to say that the symptoms were isolated and clearly just a side-effect of breathing water?

NOBODY, that was who!

And-! (Here another particular bout of vehemence was taken out on scrubbing what looked like a brass fixture to a gleam that was only possible with a lot of pent-in anger, as the walls were further informed...) Clearly, the most logical public place that not only combined poor taste in privacy with lack of upkeep was the public shower region. And clearly, if there were any lingering germs, they would loiter with their inherent malignancy right here, where perfectly innocent, blameless people would be subject to the tyrannical rule of ill health like beings in squalor!

"It's beyond appalling..." Gau confided in the grated drain with a scowl. It gave no indication of disagreeing or agreeing with this fresh point of tirade. Whatever points were set to follow it were cut off by Gau's jumping at a noise behind him, raising his brush threateningly and flattening out behind the edge of one of the shower stalls.

Justice would ring clear on whatever would dare try to prevent him from bettering the caravan this time!
