You never say "Hey", or remember my name

Characters: Link (unamvirtus), Charles J. Chrishunds (likeagoodson).

Setting/Location: That Room. You know, that room.

Date & Time: Day thirteen, morning.

Warnings: Angst and moe.

Summary: Continued from here, Charles is going all out on the self-hate thing and Link, being the caring little midget he is, goes to check on his roomie.

Link wasn't sure at all what was going on with Mister Charley, but he'd gotten to like the man enough to consider him a friend and someone to look up to. It was tragic listening to him so upset, even if Link didn't understand why very well, and even if that was so... he wanted to do whatever he could to help the man. Helping could mean a lot of things for different people, but it made Link so sad to see (hear, in this case) Mister Charles like that, and he was willing to comfort him if that was the only thing Link could do. The whereabouts Mister Charley had told him were vague at best, but he at least knew it was an empty room on the third floor, so that narrowed down his search somewhat.

He'd already been searching for a solid ten minutes, making absolutely sure to look as thoroughly as possible, just in case he happened to miss anything he shouldn't have. He was worried that he would still miss the man however, so every few minutes along he called out "Mister Charley?", just loud enough to hear inside a room close by.
