Setting/Location: Area near the vacant rooms on the third level, then inside one of them
Date & Time: Day 9, shortly after their email exchange
Warnings: None.
Summary: Jack and Aigis discuss their non-human-ness. Basically.

For the first time in a while, Aigis felt the same uncomfortable, agitated energy she'd felt when she'd been contemplating Ryoji for nearly a month. Unlike a person, who'd probably be pacing at the moment, she stood completely still, staring hard at her shoes as she thought. And there was so much to think about! She knew she wanted to run out and help the new arrivals, but she also knew with Jack on the brain, she wouldn't be nearly focused enough to do that properly. No, this had to happen first.

Though Jack wasn't a robot like her or X, she was still desperate to know more about him, because in many ways, they were similar. They were not human, they were autonomous, and they were both eager to learn. However, the biggest difference between them was the fact he wasn't a machine. He'd given her the barest sense of how it was he functioned--no, lived, she reminded herself--but it hadn't been enough. There was something else at work here, something beyond her scope of understanding.

She sighed a little, looking around. Hopefully Jack would be there soon.
