Summary: After an eventful afternoon, Amaterasu and her volunteers (and not so volunteers) have set up a party. Note: Action and prose

[ And speaking of a wolf, there's one curled up on a table against the far back of the main hall, right in the center. This table is completely covered in vines, grass and flowers to cushion her, but those who know Amaterasu might notice that she was looking a little worn. Still her eyes are alert and able to see everything from her vantage point. ]

[ Nill had been looking for Amaterasu to give her a pat for the gorgeous party but it had been a bit harder to find her than she thought. After awhile of searching she spotted the white wolf under a vine-covered table, dipping down to say hello but suddenly hesitating. She looked tired, maybe she'd overdone it putting the party together? Noticing her eyes were still open Nill gave Ammy a worried look, tilting her head to ask if she was ok. ]

[ Amaterasu lifted her head and wagged her tail when Nill came over to see her. This was draining, but it would be all worth it if people enjoyed themselves and relaxed a little. She moved forward to nudge Nill lightly in reassurance before tilting her head in return. Did Nill like it? ]

[ Well she looked okay, still tired but it was reassuring seeing her move around. At the nudge Nill smiled and nodded, reaching back to pat Ammy on the head gently. It was a wonderful party, the girl only wondered how she had managed to put it all together. ]

[ With a lot of help, thankfully. Nill really wouldn't want to have been at a party where Amaterasu provided all the food. No, she was perfectly happy handling this part of the decorations. She relaxed into the pat with a slight smile.

...She just really hoped someone else would deal with the clean up. ]

[ The white dog next to the man was sniffing around at all of the flowers and vines, tail standing to fluffy attention before she barks at her human companion once. He glances down with a surprised look, and then looks in the same direction she is. ]

Oh? Have you found a friend, Roda? I didn't realize there were other animals aboard.

[ Amaterasu doesn't move much in response; it's a lot easier to keep her concentration when she focuses on only a few things at once. But she's extremely interested in this dog - there are few enough of them around. She looks between Roda and the man. There are more than you would expect, she says, knowing that the dog would be able to understand her, though she had no idea if the man would. Hello. ]

[ Roda gives a happy-- but quiet-- bark at the prospect of meeting others. Gauche didn't understand the exchange, but he was very familiar with canine body language and behavior from traveling alongside Roda for so long and he smiles. She approaches to have a friendly sniff and lowers her head submissively, as though she were asking permission to come closer. Gauche has a look around and spots a nearby buffet with some dog-friendly food and raises a hand for Roda to stay put as he walks off.

He returns a few moments later with two plates and sets one near both dogs, and then picks at the other as he hunkers down on his laurels and watches the room. ]

Don't tell anyone, of course. I'm afraid I'm not much of a people person.

[Hope you don't mind a few headpats, Ammy.]

I'd say it came together pretty well.

[ She loves headpats. She grins at him, yipping softly in agreement before nuzzling into his hand as an expression of thanks. X was a big help, especially considering she dragged him into it. ]

[And of course, headpats must lead into ear-skritches!]

[ Only when the smart, talented, wonderful, beautiful people are giving them. She loves people like that. Her eyes are closed in pleasure, but the real sign of how much she was enjoying it is the flower that slowly grows and blooms between them - sustaining her power like this means that it ebbs and flows with her concentration and mood. ]

[Alistair noticed the white wolf from the corner of his eye, all pooped out, and wanders over. It reminded him of the Warden's Mabari hound back home; intelligent thing, maybe too intelligent.

Though he'd never met Ammy before so he may be in for a shock. He kneels down and scratches her behind the ears]

Too much partying eh?

[Unfortunately he didn't know this was all her doing.]

[ She grinned, enjoying the attention and the scratches. At his question, she snorted in amusement. In a manner of speaking, she replied, wondering if someone who spoke so easily to an animal would be one with the gift of understanding. She shook her head to emphasize her answer, especially if he didn't hear her reply. ]

[Unfortunately Alistair doesn't speak wolf, despite the claims he was brought up by flying dogs. He actually wasn't expecting any sort of reply but he notices the shake of her head]

Oh, you understand me? Soooo that's a no then?

[he paused, thinking for awhile...then it suddenly dawned on him that no one greeted him as the one who set this up...]

You're not Amaterasu are you!?

[Nah, she couldn't be, he was just being stupid again...]

[ Her jaw gapes open in a grin. He's a clever one; the first person to actually figure out who she was before she introduced herself. She yips a greeting, wagging her tail back and forth. She would've greeted people as they entered, but she's been pretty busy maintaining all the plants. She doesn't have as much time or energy for mingling, which is a bit disappointing but just something she's got to deal with.
