Day One; near midnight.

By now, everyone had surely boarded the Caravan, whether or not they trusted the ever-suspicious Way-Warrant. The cricket chirped warnings as commoners of Sleepywoods emptied the streets and into the comfort of their homes, huffing and fanning themselves. And oh, the air… it was too still for a strangely humid night. Inside the Caravan, its passengers whined, laughed, and lit up the now-lively Caravan-once a work in progress that was aged with dust. It was hot inside. The atmosphere, which was shared by nearly a hundred Hume, burned with some specks of moisture, dabbing foreheads and clothed backs with little drops of sweat.

Then, a bell rang. Then two… and three! All at once, they chimed a deep melody, as a sign-a sign of a journey that has yet begun! Oh, yes, better head on in there before it left! …Well, no, that was not the final warning, it seemed, as it was pretty much established that all boarders were present inside. No, it was definitely something else!

Its purpose became quite clear as Grandore lifted from where he sat and grabbed on to the bar he was to hold to guide the Caravan. The Giant grunted an approval, and twirled the building around to have them both face Sleepywoods’ exit. And then a final bell rang. Grandore, who did not expect it, jerked his elbow back and accidently hit the NORTH TOWER, causing the entire Caravan to shake violently. But, mistakes happen. He murmured an indecipherable apology.

Well, guess that meant it was time to go! With a big tug, the Caravan was moving ever steadily out of the village.

Oh, what village could be next? Only time will tell, it seemed!
