Summary: Roommates are awesome. Then your friends strip you in front of them and you can't face them ever again. That's just how life goes.
There was still a dull ache across his shoulderblades where the tight, new skin had yet to fully heal over the wound he received protecting Naoto. A bit distracting, but otherwise nothing much. Kazuki was getting a bit used to being injured by now. The cool little computer that had been left with him was smaller than any computer he'd seen yet, even though the functions were pretty limited and the display so-so. Display or not, he certainly hadn't missed the post by that Way-Warrant everyone was talking about with room assignments and found his name damn near the top of the list-- which was cool because everyone had weird names and Kazuki didn't even bother to skim the rest.
Even though a small part of his mind nagged him about how this must be a new Di[e]ce, it seemed way too weird and intricate as he looked around, not spotting anyone acting mindless and zombie-like. More like an RPG than anything, judging by the looks of the "locals" in town and now this. While it was possibly the coolest vacation idea ever, that giant was obviously just some CG projection, or a robot of some kind to attract business. The pain was the only real thing anchoring his thoughts where they should be, but that anchor may as well be five pounds and holding down a yacht in a storm. As Kazuki walked into the Caravan, even the lobby was amazing.
"This place is awesome!"
The high schooler had a childish grin on his face, eyes taking in everything with excitement. His worries were briefly swept under the rug, Di[e]ce, his grandmother, Reset, and even the constant niggling about Haruki all mingling beneath the fibers. Kazuki trotted down a hallway at random, peeking into any open doors he came across until he stumbled upon the right one and found room 110, glancing around briefly before barging right in. His roommate was some guy named Dante, wasn't it? That was a pretty cool name, so hopefully he was a cool person to match it.
