Characters: xbutterflyguns and hometrail
Setting/Location: Riviere, near said cherry tree
Date & Time: Day 53, mid morning
Warnings: Innuendo. Bayonetta is a warning onto herself after all.
Summary: An Umbra Witch wakes up in a place she least expected to. Also, this town is clearly not Vigrid.

She opened her eyes to the sudden flicker of sunlight through the leaves. Her hand went up to shield her face slightly as she managed to sit up. A hand supported her frame as she began to get her bearings. Around her, townspeople seemed to go by their daily business. The sunlight flickered through the blossoms above her. One ribbon fluttered over her shoulder from a sudden slight breeze. This wasn't the Gates of Hell.Heck, this wasn't even Vigrid to begin with. Sure. it was a quiet little village and yes, perhaps the streets and houses kind of looked like it but there was a glaringly obvious difference: the cherry tree that now towered over her.

Of course, all this caused was a distinct "hm" of curiosity as Bayonetta pulled herself up off the ground. All seemed to be satisfactory: her limbs were still in place and she was still in one piece. Even better, her guns were still in tact. It gave her a measure of security to find two pistols still on her heels and the other two still within reach. Alright. If anything was out of place, at least she still had Scarborough Fair to count on.

Taking a lollipop from her stash, she continued to study her surroundings. Normally, she would have slipped into Purgatorio by now, being able to go unnoticed amongst the townspeople and scout around as much as she wanted but it didn't seem to work. With a sigh, the witch slipped the candy between her lips and leaned against the tree trunk slightly. "Interesting place." she murmured, folding her arms across her chest. "Hardly does anything for me, however. Much too drab."

Somehow, she found she may have to get used to the idea of popping up in a different place with no reason. But calm as she was, there was that nagging feeling that this was yet another fine mess she'd managed to get herself into. "I suppose someone here at least knows where I am." she sighed and pulled herself away from the tree, off to find someone to interrogate... er... question.
