I shouldn't laugh, it's a pretty serious side effect of having a stroke, but  "the patient was also tested for signs of extinction" just sounds so funny.

Neurologists should really think before they name things. Although it is easier to say than "the patient was tested for signs of an ipsilesional attentional bias".

I am officially sick of trying to write the introduction section of my practical report. So I've given up. Well until Monday anyway. I have decided instead to move on to better bigger more challenging things, namely my 4000 word essay on Hemi-spatial neglect.

Sigh. I wish that Easter holidays still meant sleeping in until lunchtime and playing ( Read more... )

So I'm only 300 words better off than the last time I posted. And it's not like I haven't been trying to write this stupid introduction, it's just that I'm not sure what else I need to say.
