What I can't write: I imagine if I tried to write hardcore porn it would suck a lot. Also, there are a lot of non X-Files projects I haven't seen, so if anyone wants "David visits Gillian on the set of __________ movie" fic, I am not the person for that.
What I would like: a) David and Gillian practicing for the Fight the Future kiss!
b) "When I play a scene with Gillian Anderson, there are always little looks between us which mean 'what do you think about what's happening?' It's a little as if we have secrets between us. Everything is conveyed by communication beyond words. Perhaps, after all, you could interpret that as love." WRITE ABOUT THAT.
If you have having difficulties thinking of things you would want,
a) watch an X-Files episode, and think about David in Gillian instead of Mulder & Scully.
b) read old interviews! GAWS has some great ones, hobviously, but if you want an easy list of quotes that are all geared towards the D/G shipping, this link is v. useful.
c) Pictures make for good prompts.
d) Lyrics & poetry work too. Whatever your little hearts desire!
Your prompts will be a guarded secret, though, as are the fics you will, eventually, write (those aren't my real prompts, by the way!). I'm screening comments, so no one but you & me & thenaughtydingo (although I'm pretty sure you won't be able to see them on the poast, bb, but I'll send you the entries somehow so you can help me deviously organize!) will be able to see the prompts you write. I trufax think it'll be fun this way. I enjoy secrecy.
Signups close at midnight EST on the 21st of June. I'll remind you all the 20th & probably the 21st too. Your fic-writing assignments will be emailed to you sometime around the 22nd or 23rd, and you'll have until August 5th to write them. A more detailed schedule will probably follow.
