Okie Dokie
Hello. My name is Haley. It has been 9 weeks since my last entry.
They say that when you get married there is that 7-year itch. Well, when you move to Oklahoma apparently there is the 9 month itch. Me and Dani both suddenly came down with some home-sickness and Oklahoma just got really old.
I am moving back in a few months and I am really looking forward to it. Not the moving part, just the being there part. Especially since I am missing all the action... and the non-action for that matter. Although life in Oklahoma is slow, it is also jam-packed full of inteference from nature. It's nice to wake up in the morning and know that there is no natural disaster between you and your workplace. It's also nice to go to bed at night to the regular sounds of gunshots and police sirens rather than these incessant cicadas. And of course, I must see my friends again. Some don't know how to keep in touch if I am not pounding on their door. And then some I just have to see in person, especially Emily.
It has been a long year. As you see, I now type in sentence case even in my internet correspondence. That's what working at a bank will do to you. I am totally the most literate and grammatically correct person in the office. At least I feel like I am sometimes when I read my bank emails.
About 3 months left to go and so much to accomplish in that time. See you soon!
