Its gorgeous out
i do not want to be sitting at a desk inside right now. there should be mandatory outside office space
the last weeks have been crazy. i worked straight from March 24th through April 11th, with no days off, well, only taking 3 days off to go to a funeral, so no real days off. we had our biggest Admissions events March 29, 30 and 31st, and April 5, 6, 7, 11, and 14. and then off-campus receptions on April 12 and 13th. and right at the beginning of the busiest time of the year at work for me, my Oma dies. it sucked.
this past Monday was our last event of the spring season (thank god!) and i finally got some sleep this week.
now the busyness is over, and the weather is amazing! and I have a 3-day weekend because I took tomorrow off (because i needed it, not because of passover, cause i'm not jewish, though i was invited to Jackie's passover dinner this weekend, but i'm not going cause JP's mom is in town)
and after work, cause JP's mom and aunt are in town, we are going for drinks and dinner at the
Hotel Gansevoort all expenses paid by Aunt C's company (she's in town for a conference), and i'm really looking forward to it
and if you haven't yet, you should check out
Os Mutantes, cause JP and i discovered them yesterday, and they rock. You can listen to their songs
