2008 is looking up
I have decided to take 2 non-credit, non-degree courses with
NYU SCPS this spring:
Evolution and Operation of Nongovernmental Organizations
and
Role of the Nonprofit Organization in Society
I still receive 80% tuition remission, so I think, with fees, I should only have to spend about $200 for both courses, which is definitely doable.
Also, I had lunch with my friend Caroline Reddick today [finally after not seeing her for over a year] and I'm going to be a co-founder of the nonprofit organization "Nora's Playhouse", which is technically a theater company, but with larger ambitions than just theater, including women's rights, human rights, and how gender relates to international issues. Caroline started the company a few years ago, and I was her intern when still in undergrad. We did a production under the company, and started researching how to become a nonprofit. The process was interrupted by life, but has come back into play this afternoon, and, once Caroline completes her thesis this April, she will tackle the project full-time. and I will help.
So while she is completing her thesis, I am reading Nonprofit Kit for Dummies.
Suck it Wagner.............[No, I'm not bitter at all, hehe]
