(no subject)
so, i know i had decided to only keep an online journal in Spain to record my travels and all, so i guess i'm breaking the rules a little, (and i know i'm not going to be posting any personal shit, cause anyone can read this and all)...
but i'm bored as hell right now. i'm working the box office at the skirball center this summer and there are no shows for july or august. so basically new york university is paying me to sit at a computer for 5 hours. i'm just not a computer person, i don't see how one could surf the net for so long. i've been surfing the web for about an hour and a half and been doing pretty good so far, but this is not working. i'm going to have to bring in a book to read.
in other news, i'm 20, birthday was the 26th, and it was decent. the party was well, ok, nothing great, i should never throw parties again, but i guess i did have fun.
the two shows i'm stage managing are ending this week. one already ended on sunday (with the exception of an extra show in july) and the second one ends tomorrow. then i have about a week before i start working on the frindge show. so stage managing is going well.
i do need to make more money, this box office job just doesn't give me enough hours (which is understandable, since there is nothing to do). i do want to get another job, but rehearsals for the frindge are every week night and saturday days, so i need another day job. damn rent. i wish i could just get paid for stage managing.
