(no subject)
Well, another summer gone. Had a good time, but didnt really accomplish as much as I told myself I would. That new mindset I was talking about a few months ago? Well, I cant say my outlook has changed dramatically, but things are getting progressively better, piece by piece. Lots of new people this summer, which was really good. Some friends reappearing, others drifting away for reasons unknown to me.
Im finally out of debt after... a long time. Its nice to know that once I get everything for school all paid for and settle into this semester, the money I earn will actually be mine. Although, I did make one selfish purchase recently, a little going back to school present for myself. I love my new mp3 player very, very much. Having my entire music library at my fingertips 24 hours a day is something that wont get old anytime soon. As for classes, my schedule is subject to change in the next week or so, but right now Im registered for Painting, Intro to Eastern Philosophy, Critical Analysis of writing, and Social Psychology. Im trying to possibly switch into a japanese class, cinema studies instead of the other english class, and maybe sculpture or photography instead of painting.
Also, I finished my first AMV. Ive been working on it on and off for the past few months, I had to do all the editing at my dads office workstation where Im interning. Im really happy with it. Ive got alot of positive feedback so far, which is great, but I still have the next step of compressing the video to a manageable size before I can put it up online for everyone to see. I have it on DVD though, and its friggin sweet.
First day of class tomorrow, I gotta get up and catch the bus to campus. First order of business is getting a commuters parking pass, so I dont have to worry about missing the bus, which Im predicting will happen alot this semester.
So I took a break from the journal for the past few months, public entries at least, but I think Im gonna write more regularly now that vacation is over.
