I want to write my own fanfic based on My Immortal. Now there are two ways I can see of paying tribute to it, the greaest of fanfics: I could either write a fanfic based on the fanfic, or I could write a fanfic of something else in the style of My Immortal. I have decided to first attempt the latter, although the former could be very interesting and particularly challenging if one were to attempt a decent (ie not so bad it's awesome) fanfic based on My Immortal. Now I must decide what to base my fanfic on...Harry Potter is obviously off the list, as is Pride and Prejudice as Liam has been writing that one...my first instinct was Twilight, but sadly it already too closely resembles My Immortal to really be spoofed in such a way. I am considering Doctor Who...any and all suggestions welcome.
