Can I see you? You have been distant and I have been busy.

I've been the same and why are you asking? You already know where to find me. I'll be home around the same time as usual.

That day, she could have died, he could have killed him and they both would have lost something to their mutual enemies. Lilith felt more uneasy than she admitted at the idea of death after the day passed. The consequences to her plans, to Abel, to everything. And to Aion, too.
She didn't blame him for his reaction and recklessness. Unlike Chrono, she knew what it was to take a choice to damn your own comrade to certain doom when they were possessed by a foe. She knew the pain and the anger. She had seen 01 pretending to be Cain, smiling with them as nothing was amiss before she had declared them her enemies ( ... )

An aggravated sigh escaped him as he stared out his window. The snow didn't help his mood. Did those bastards know? This was becoming more of a problem than he imagined. Sensing his eagle returning, the sinner stood up from his chair and walked out his room. Making his way to the entrance of the Cathedral, he held his arm out to retrieve it as his cold eyes darted towards the woman coming closer.]

The Saint returned the Sinner's cold look with a serene one. She wasn't moved by his glowering, knowing he likely did that to bury deeper feelings within. Like...
She didn't continue that trail of thought, instead she greeted him, without smiling as she made her way into the halls.]
We should speak inside.

I'm glad we agree.
[He followed her down the hall as he watched the figure elegantly walk before him. The sinner didn't like the feeling as if he was to be scolded for something once they make it to their destination. He already said enough as it is on top of what she's seen herself. What else did she want? An amusement before her death?]

I am sorry, Aion. I upset you, didn't I?
[Her features softened.]
After what happened during that, what you needed the most was reassurance that there were no side effects and I chose to take more hours...

Don't get me wrong. You should be more concerned of yourself instead of giving me your damn sympathy. This doesn't change the fact that I'll still kill you if I see any traces of her in you, even you, Lilith. You have your own dream you can't give up as I do, don't you? Focus on that.
[Aion adjusted his glasses again as he tried to wrap it up. He didn't want to be here in the spot light. She played his mind one too many times already in the past. Someone he's never encountered before. Someone he didn't know how to handle well for whatever reason.]
If there's nothing else, I'll take my leave.

[After waiting his response, Lilith decided to confess this. She wanted him to know with this information that she still trusted him, despite of all, she still did. She didn't like the level of comfort she had built either, but she cannot ignore that is there.]
Please stay. I'm not apologizing for what the curse did or Pandemonium did.
[It was what she did. She knew it made him uneasy because of the state of their friendship, she felt the same. She knew what he must have been going through.]
I wouldn't mind to be killed if something possessed my will and there is no turning back, Aion, I would do the same for you. Unlike Chrono, I understand.
