Unfortunately, Discedo, I seem to have very little to offer regarding pleasant conversation topics, so have another riddle or two, instead~

1 | Two fathers and two sons sat down to eat eggs for breakfast. They ate exactly three eggs, each person had an egg. How is this possible?

2 | Three lawyers rent a hotel room for the night. When they get ( Read more... )

you do not see the mood, in limbo, not trolling for once, proxyless, lack of plot moment, missing tv so damn much, hee hee~, it's finally getting to him

I was gonna look into it myself. It'd give some clues about what the people here were like. An' I could use the exercise.

[Put this under a lock and I might give you a half-decent answer. In the form of denial that makes you know EXACTLY what I mean.]

More riddles, at the current moment. It's been so long since I've done these that my reserves are beginning to run dry~

You've got nine coins. One of 'em is a counterfeit that looks just like the others, except for bein' a little lighter. The other thing you have is a scale. Usin' the scale no more than twice, how do you find the counterfeit?

Place two sets of three coins on either side of the scale. If they balance, take the pile that has not yet been weighed - and if they don't balance, take the lighter of the two instead - and weigh two coins from that set. If they balance, the coin left over is the counterfeit. If they don't, the lighter is the counterfeit.
