Seven years!

Seven years ago today, Valkyrie and I dressed up in some really spiffy clothes, looked deep into each others eyes, and said "I Do."

The tradition of posting something to my journal this year seems to be pretty firmly established: Here is what I had to say for the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth anniversaries.
This year, we got one of the best gifts EVER from my brother and his girlfriend -- a weekend off! I took Valkyrie up to Alpine county, and we spent a day relaxing at a mountain resort. See the smile on Valkyrie's face? It was a good day.
The Miata is fun to drive up to the mountains too. And, even with as little as we took, we managed to stuff the trunk full. The cell phones didn't work up there, but the resort had a open Wi-Fi network, so my iPhone managed to get on the net and check email. Luckily, I didn't get any.
