I'm not sure if anyone really understands what a Gay-Sraight Alliance is. We aren't announcing to the world who is gay, and who is not. You may not care if so and so likes boys and is one, but apparenlty, the whole school does, hence the hesitation to join, and the mocking. We are just trying to make homosexuality a more accepted way of life, and to try to put and end to homophobia because beleive it or not, it affects you to. Yes, there probably should be a group like this for racism, and sexism etc, but we are jsut focusing on this, and the need for it is clear when you look down the halls and see half-burned, torn down, stepped on posters for the GSA with "god hates you" written on them. We are working to make the school a more accepting place. If you think that is dumb, then okay. if not, please stop by on friday and atleast give it a chance.
