I have started rigorously exercising while Johnny is away at work, and not telling him.
It's a funny thing to keep secret, but I'd really like him to one day just look at me and be like.. damn! you look good!
and then I will tell him about p90x that killllled me.
yesterday I did Yoga and Ab Ripper and today I did the hour of Plyometrics. Plyometrics = Death! I can barely walk. I am waddling from room to room. It's so so painful. I really really intend to do the full 90 days this time.
3 months is so little time when I really think about it. In the grand scheme of things, just a blip on the radar, really!
I might skip it tomorrow and do a run instead, because of all the Easter-y business going on. I think I will be less hard on myself, before  when I tried and I missed a day here and there I felt defeated and just gave up, this time I will be more lenient. If I miss a day... it's ok.
As long as I get some sort of physical activity in, it will be fine..
Even if it's just playing the dance game with my kids on the Wii. We did that for two hours yesterday and I was sweating like a whore in church!
It's fun and the girls like it. My battle is more in the kitchen than with the exercise thing, though. Gotta be more careful with my diet

tomorrow morning I have to wake up extra early to get my run in because I have to be up early to hide the easter eggs! I am hoping to stuff them and get them in the freezer by tonight! I don't know if other people do that but we freeze any kind of chocolate candies because it gets so hot and they get melty if we don't. I'm not doing too much chocolate, though. Ella doesn't like it, and they don't need too much candy anyway. More things like stickers, coins, little toys and stuff. Anyway after egg hunt in the AM we will go over to grandma's for another egg hunt and some snacks. Johnny's sister Missy and her husband Jeff are coming in to town just for a few hours ONLY to see lily and ella do their hunt. They are crazy! But Missy loves kids, and since it is looking doubtful that she will have her own children, she takes her Aunt-ly duties pretty seriously.
I'm just doing up a mess of Old Bay shrimp and salad and hush puppies for easter dinner. it's just us 4 so I don't care about doing any kind of "Easter Dinner".

I'm reading the Odd Thomas series by Dean Koontz. So weird. it's ok so far.
I am behind on my Walking Dead. I can't always watch because the kids are still up, or they are sleeping in the same room with me and I don't want them to have nightmares from subconsciously hearing stuff! So I'm anxious to watch the last episode before the new one comes on tomorrow! I don't know how I'll swing it. I've been trying to avoid hearing any spoilers but I did see one about Daryl! :/ spoilers.

Ella is fully potty trained, I don't know if I mentioned. No thanks to me! She did it herself. She had been in pull-ups for ages, but pretty much still used them like diapers. We ran out. So she went on the potty. And kept going. She hasn't had any accidents since, and is even fully night trained! Pretty awesome. Both my kids potty-trained themselves. So I am a firm believer in just letting them do it when they are ready. Eventually, they will be. Much less stress. Ella also had her first hair cut. She looks like a Beatle! haha or Dorothy Hamil. It's cute! But tooo short. I want it to grow out. But she looks super sweet, anyway.
too much ramble. stream of consciousness sort of post today. sorry.

going to rest my poor aching bones.

potty, books, ella, easter, kids, ramble, tv, ouch, exercise
