ok so Lily is crazy about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and asked Santa for action figures. We went to Toys R Us and the entire TMNT section was wiped out. Not one.single.toy! We went back and there were a handful so we snagged what we could. There are 4 turtles, red, orange, purple, and blue. We got the other 3 but purple is nowhere to be

I would not have guessed Ninja Turtles to be the hot toy this year. I'm really out of it when it comes to trends, even with all the kids I know and see on a regular basis.

I've done nearly all my shopping online this month, so I haven't really been out in stores, but if there's somewhere you're able to check online for local availability, you can put in my zip code and text me if you find a store that has what you want. I'll be near a Toys R Us on Monday, I think, so I'll stop in for you and see what they have.

It's because Nickelodeon (or some other kid channel on tv) has done a reboot on the TMNT show, so a whole new generation of kids who have never heard of them before are getting really into it! I thought it would be popular but never that it would be THIS difficult to find! No worries, though. We will get it when it's available - Lily can wait a few days after christmas when they are in stock, if we can't get it before then! I decided after so much stress about it that I'm going to just stop worrying.

I shopped a ton online, too! I prefer it, usually. I do like to try on clothing for myself, but pretty much everything else - online! You can get the best, most unique stuff online! People always ask me where I get stuff haha
