30 Days, Day 3
03) First Best Friend
I know I had good friends before her but the first best friend that I really remember was Della. She was in my 1st grade class, and she came up to me and told me she was going to call me every day. I honestly thought she was kind of annoying at first! haha But we were partners in crime all through elementary, middle, and high school. I loved that girl so much. After high school she moved to GA for college. She just got married a few months ago. And failed to invite me.
I haven't seen her in years. We caught up a little on Facebook once, but after that she never responded to anything I ever sent her. Once her dad came to a garage sale I was having, last year I think, and he said she actually was in town visiting, and he called her on his cell so I could talk to her. She asked for my address and told me we would go have lunch the next day, buuuut she never called or showed or anything. Kinda gave up after that. l I got her into this church I was going to that had an awesome youth group and she sort of became kind of snobby and condescending after that, like I wasn't up to her Godly standards or something. Real jesus-like LOL But I still only have really good feelings towards her, and really really great memories, and I wish her the best with her life.

on a side note, I have never been sicker in my life than I have these past couple of days, except for that time I had pneumonia. But seriously. This is the first time I've been able to get up and do something other than take medicine. Feels like someone is stabbing a knife into my head, burning eyes, razor blades in my throat, stuffy and runny nose all at once (wtf) and a fever over 102 for houuuurs. I was kinda trippin' there for awhile, I was so feverish! J gave me some pill, who knows what, this morning, and it's helping. Saved my life.
