I'm way behind. Oh well.

02. places I've lived

I was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, which is close to Harrisburg, the state capitol. All of my extended family is there.
We lived in a big apartment building in Ironville Pike, Marietta, that my dad bought after a fire and renovated. We were the only ones living there while it was being fixed up so we ( Read more... )

Ha! Sometimes I think about moving to Florida. But then I remember the humidity and check myself. I think we need to move to California or Hawaii. Amy's family needs to get off the island in HI, so we can live there. I'm not living near them.

I've lived very few places. My family moved when I was about 1, so I don't remember the first house at all. The second house, I grew up in, and my parents still live there.

At 18, I moved in with my then-boyfriend and his friend; we were living in his parents house after they had to move out-of-state on a temporary work thing. After they returned and we realized we couldn't get along in the same house, I moved back in with my own parents. (Should've gotten my own place! I don't think I realized I could afford it.)

It took me a few years to move out on my own, living alone in an apartment. Stayed there only a year and a half or so, and then I moved out here to live with Amy! We're on our second place.

So, four places I can remember. Five if you count the house I was an infant in. Not too many!

Yeah the humidity is killer. It's the worst! It's funny, my mom was offered a job in hawaii when I was just a kid. She and my dad went to the island to check it out... I wish they had taken it! I could have grown up in Hawaii! That would have been awesome!!! You could do and just not tell them you are there hahah

I barely remember the first few places I lived, either. I have mixed up memories though because we would go back and visit family all the time, so not sure if I remember them from when I lived there or when we visited...
