Yesterday J and I went to my work for dinner - it's the first time I've eaten there as an actual customer. I had salmon and it was yummy. But the yummiest part were the margarita's - if you have a Texas Roadhouse near you, I suggest the Jamaican cowboy! So so so good! And the Roadie is good, too! (that's the one I always suggest to my customers!)
After that, since the movie theater is right next door, we decided to see something. Since we hadn't planned ahead of time we ended up picking just whatever happened to be playing next, and it was Silent House. The movie was just ok, but I definitely see what all the hype is over that Olson sister, Elizabeth Olson? She was really good! Pretty much the whole movie is the camera on her face, and it was pretty believable, as far as that goes. Johnny and I scored a little dope beforehand and since I never ever smoke I was out of mind. Giggling my face off. It was ridiculous. Something that we noticed going in though, was this mom with her three little kids, I mean maybe Lily's age and a little older, and she took them right into that movie behind us. They sat up in the very back row and at the end of the movie she sat there and waited until everyone else was out before she got up because she didn't want anyone to see them. (there were only about 10 people in there total) But her gig was up because we all heard those kids during the movie. The one little girl was sobbing, and then we heard the other girl whisper loudly, "Mommy I'm so scared!" a few times.. That movie is rated R for a reason! It deals with child abuse and at one point someone's head is bashed in with a sledgehammer... I couldn't stop thinking about those poor kids the entire film. Maybe they were really bad and that was their punishment?
That mom sucks! Why would you do that to your children? You really want to see that crappy movie? Can't get a sitter? Don't go! Wait for it to come out and watch it when they are sleeping. So easy. ugh it grossed me out. Other people in the theater were upset by it, also. Super inappropriate.
Today I had to go in to work at 10am and roll silverware. I was bummed because everyone from work was at the doggy beach grilling out and I had to go in and roll stupid silverware. Boo! It's been so gorgeous out. Well, stinking sweaty hot, but gorgeous for the beach! We don't open until 4 on weekdays so it was just me and a few guys in the back prepping and the guy who mops the floor. it was a lonely couple of hours, let me tell you. I had to roll every single piece of silverware in the restaurant. It took SO. LONG. Johnny was blowing up my phone because for some reason his mom had thought I'd be in and out really quick and I didn't get finished until 4:15. And I rolled continuously! That's about how long it normally takes other people, too, so it wasn't like I just lollygagged and messed around and didn't do my work just so Gail had to babysit for a couple hours longer. Sheesh! I have seriously no gas in my car and I needed to stop and buy a few necessities at the store like diapers but I didn't even stop for any of that, just went straight home, since everyone was having such a cow. I wish once in my life I didnt have time limits and always feel so rushed and like I am always such a burden to everyone but I don't see that changing anytime soon. 'ok so that's my rant for today.
In better news I finally got my Nook Color fixed. And I ordered a SUPER cute skin for it. I already have a case but
I love this so I just had to. I had more things to say but as usual, cannot remember them.
