Watson amnesia fic

I'm almost positive this was a bookverse fic and it was one where Watson is shot and has amnesia. The fic was fairly long, I think it was posted in four parts or so on LJ. The entire fic was from Watson's pov. Holmes and Watson got together and then soon after Watson was shot in the head on a stakeout/case and forgot all of it. Most of the fic was

I should probably add this, we see the guys get together before Watson gets hurt and I don't think that Holmes tells him.

Watson remembered everything when he wandered into Holmes' bedroom and saw the bed... and prior to that he felt strange in his own bed because his body didn't remember it.

That sounds really familiar and I think it was this fic. Thanks so much for trying to dig this up, it's been driving me crazy. I just wish I could remember more of the details (no pun intended).

I have a pretty good memory, so I usually google forgotten fics by the sentences I remember, but in this case everything I remember is sadly generic. Now it's driving me nuts too. :(

That's exactly the problem, if I could remember a line or something we'd have a better chance at finding it, but all I can remember is the general outline and how well it was done. Sorry to be driving you crazy too.
